Buildmarq was established in 2025 by Ahmed and Mac, two construction professionals who combined their experience to form a company grounded in real site knowledge and disciplined project delivery.
Together, they bring over 18 years of combined experience across commercial fit-outs, large-scale commercial developments, high-rise residential projects, and remedial works.
Both founders began their careers on site, progressing through hands-on roles before moving into project management and contract administration positions. This background gives Buildmarq a clear advantage: decisions are made with buildability, sequencing, safety, and compliance in mind.
Buildmarq is fully licensed in New South Wales, enabling us to deliver residential, commercial, and remedial works with the appropriate authority and accountability.

From 2018 to 2025, Ahmed held multiple roles including Site Manager, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator. During this period, he delivered projects valued between $10 million and $50 million for private developers, government bodies, and commercial clients, including schools and childcare centres.
Ahmed brings strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and a calm, solutions-focused approach to live construction environments.
Outside of work, he is a husband and father of two.
Director
Mac commenced his construction career in 2017, progressing steadily from labourer to Site Manager and Project Manager. Over this time, he developed extensive experience across general renovations and detailed commercial fit- outs. In 2024, he established his own business focusing on bathrooms, home renovations, and minor commercial projects.
In April 2025, he partnered with Ahmed to formally establish Buildmarq.
Today, Mac brings a highly organised, detail-driven approach together with practical problem-solving to every project.
